"Like many of you. I spent my fist couple of years in Tae Kwon Do saying something at the beginning of every class. Finally I decided to sit down and see what it was we were saying." Master McKenzie!

A tenet is a belief of principle held as true by a person or group of persons.

Courtesy
We must always be courteous and polite in class, respecting our seniors and each other.

Integrity
Complete sincerity or honesty. We are always sincere about what we are learning.

Perseverance
This means holding to a belief or persisting in the face of obstacles or discouragement. This is the one to remember when we are sparring, in competition or just doing those 20 pushups that the instructor demands.

Self Control.
This is the control of emotions or actions by ones own will. We must always practice self control, especially in class, when sparring with one another.

Indomitable Spirit
Incapable of being overcome or subdued. We learned to be strong in body and strongly willed, especially in competition when a good frame of mind is so important.
